"We have been using USO-AutoText for approximately one year now. We find this system beneficial as many parents feel they do not need to inform the school when their child is absent. It is also very effective if a family has moved away and not informed the school of this, they get a text and hopefully phone us to say they have changed school, we then get the opportunity to find out what school their child will be attending.

It is very easy to use and cost effective. Each morning after the registers have been run through the attendance module in Sims.net we log onto the USO Support Site and a list of the children absence that day is shown. A text is then sent to the relevant parents asking them to give a reason why their child is absent from school. If a parent has already informed the school why their child is absent we are able to stop the text from being sent to that family.

I would recommend this system to other schools. "
